The ReefBase Pacific Species Profiles have been developed in collaboration with
the FishBase and SeaLifeBase Projects.
The FishBase, SeaLifeBase and ReefBase Pacific Projects will continue to work together
to improve and expand the information on Pacific reef associated species, with special
consideration to those of subsistence and commercial value to coastal communities.
The ReefBase Pacific team, with collaborators, will increase the amount of Pacific
related information provided in the species profiles, to increase their value within
the region.
The nature and the source of information provided in the ReefBase Pacific species
profiles are explained here.
Only reef associated species profiles are provided here; for information regarding
other species please refer directly to FishBase, SeaLifeBase and ReefBase online
database systems.
